“O you of little faith.”
Have more faith!
Scrape it up from the bottom of the barrel,
No matter how crusty and unfitting you find it.
“O you of little faith.”
Have more faith!
The sky is falling and your life’s a wreck because
You don’t have enough faith.
“O you of little faith — you wicked and faithless generation.”
Have more faith!
Even as small as a mustard seed
Your self-summoned faith will move mountains.
“O you of little faith.”
Have more faith!
You just don’t have enough faith.
Good luck pleasing God without enough faith.
“O you of little faith.”
Have more faith!
But what if faith’s a gift?
And what if there’s grace when the gift is smaller than yours?
“O you of little faith.”
Have more faith!
But what if little is good
And any bigger would make me forget God?
“O you of little faith.”
Remember, you have faith!
Even when it’s little, the gift is good.
It leads me to say, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
“O you of little faith.”
I commend you for your faith.
You accepted the gift,
And I am well pleased.
